Kapolei Aquatics is located on the campus of American Renaissance Academy at 91-11800 Midway Street, Kapolei, HI 96707. We are proud to offer the only 50-meter pool on O’ahu’s west side serving all ages - from babies to adults.

Peter Andrew(Head Coach)Coach Peter Andrew is an Olympic swim coach, founder of USRPT Academy and former Race Pace Club, and as a globally recognized leader in Ultra-Short, Race-Pace Training (USRPT). Originally from South Africa, Peter coached his son, Olympic gold medalist Michael Andrew, from childhood to the Tokyo 2020 Games, where Michael competed in three individual events and helped the U.S. win gold in a world record time in the 4X100 Medley Relay - earning Peter a rare spot on the U.S. Olympic coaching staff for Team USA. Now based in Hawai’i, Peter serves as Head Coach of Kapolei Aquatics, where he brings world-class expertise, a data-driven coaching philosophy, and a deep commitment to building confident, high-performing swimmers through joy, discipline, and faith.

Tina Andrew
Aquatics Director
Tina Andrew serves as Aquatics Director at Kapolei Aquatics, bringing decades of experience in international business, athlete management, and team leadership. Originally from South Africa, she and her husband, Olympic swim coach Peter Andrew, moved to the U.S. to raise their family and pursue opportunities in entrepreneurship and eventually in athletics.Tina is the former general manager and co-owner of the New York Breakers, a founding team in the International Swimming League (ISL). In this role, she helped manage logistics, sponsorship, and athlete support for a professional swim team competing on the world stage.
She is also the founder of Work Abroad Network, an international recruitment and placement firm, and previously founded Employment USA, LLC, assisting South Africans with U.S. work opportunities and visa sponsorship.
Tina is the mother of Olympic gold medalist Michael Andrew and visual artist Michaela Nowak, and recently became a proud grandmother to Malachi, with another grandchild on the way. Now based in Hawaiʻi, Tina is focused on growing programs at Kapolei Aquatics that serve swimmers of all levels — from learn-to-swim through elite performance — while overseeing operations and community outreach.
